Accessibility

Our commitment

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their equipment, browser or abilities. Accessibility was considered during design, not added afterwards.

Target level of conformance

The site aims for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

Every page is checked automatically whenever the site changes, in French and in English, on desktop and on mobile. A page with an accessibility error blocks the release.

What has been done

In practice:

• all navigation works with the keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible;
• a skip link takes you straight to the main content;
• text contrast meets the required threshold, including the brand colour;
• the site stays readable and usable at 200% zoom;
• animation is switched off if your system says you prefer reduced motion;
• meaningful images have a description; decorative ones are ignored by screen readers;
• the language of every page is declared, in French as in English.

Known limitations

Some team photographs are not yet available at high resolution; they remain sharp on screen but do not have every intended size.

Getting to the clinic: the clinic is in suite 200 at 489, rue Notre-Dame; the building has an elevator and parking is on site. Other details (door widths, washrooms, assistance) are not described here yet: call us before your visit and we will answer any question about access or transport.

The map on the Contact us page is provided by Google and its accessibility is not ours to control. The full address is written out beside it, and stays readable without loading the map.

Reporting a barrier

If a page stops you from doing what you meant to do, tell us. Where possible, say which page and what you were trying to do; that helps us reproduce the problem.

We acknowledge reports as soon as we can and, if a fix will take time, we offer another way to get what you need — by phone, in particular.
