Audrey Harvey earned her diploma from collège Édouard-Montpetit in June 2000 and is part of the team at Centre Dentaire Rive-Nord, where she provides the denturology service.

Who does what

Several trades cross paths during a single visit, each governed by its own professional order. Knowing who does what saves a question asked of the wrong person.

The dentist: They examine the teeth, the gums and the tissues of the mouth, plan the care and carry it out: fillings, root canals, extractions, gum treatment and implant placement. They are also the ones who decide whether an X-ray would add anything useful in your case.
The denturologist: She designs, makes and fits removable dental prostheses: complete dentures, partial dentures and dentures retained by implants. She also handles repairs and relines, once bone and gums have changed and the prosthesis no longer holds the way it used to.
The dental hygienist: She carries out the cleaning, removes plaque and tartar, and gives you maintenance advice suited to your habits. She is often the person you spend the most time with during a routine visit.
